Hello people. So at my new job at Chiropractic 4 Kids & Families, we need your help. We are planning Monthly Wellness Workshops and we need some topics! Here at Dr. Bill's office, we are all about health and wellness. Our motto is "Helping raise healthy kids naturally". So anything from eating well within your budget to info on immunizations. So, post comments of ideas and whoever suggests the best topic wins a free massage here at our office! Also, if you are interested in learning more about us, check out our website at www.mychiro4kids.com -- or our blog at dr-bill.blogspot.com -- or check out our Facebook Group under "Chiropractic 4 Kids & Families". oooo! i want a free massage! even though i live 2 states away! but i come visit like once per year! so here are my ideas (some i already sent in an email to you).

*natural remedies for sick kids
*preparing healthy meals and snacks for kids
*immunizations (one i did want to add since my email)
*exercise for moms and kids- mostly moms... healthy kids start with a healthy mom

if i can think of more, i'll post them!

(Had to re-post because my first post had a typo!!! And I just can't have that!) A friend of mine is a dentist and he is always saying that kids (older babies/toddlers) shouldn't be given juice in their bottles to take to bed during naptime. The juice/sugar stays on their teeth that whole time and then they get cavities. I would have never even thought of that, especially if it was 100% healthy juice - I would have thought I was doing the correct and healthy thing! Keeping that in mind promotes good dental health in young kids. If they lose their baby teeth too soon due to rot and decay, they won't get their grown-up teeth till years later!

yay! I have been terrible about checking blogs lately...congrats on the new job!!! Sounds like a really fun place to work, I would love that kind of place!
Here's what I came up with:

-helping kids eat their fruits and veggies every day (I really like this website: http://www.todayiatearainbow.com/
-turn off the tv, computer...etc. day and be active!
-breakfast--the meal for champions!
-choosing healthy snacks
-bike safety or a bike-a-thon or somethings like that
-workouts you can do at home and as a family...I know that sounds kind of cheesy but my kids Love this kind of thing!
-run for your life--benefits of an active lifestyle, habits are easier to keep if they're started while they're young.
-portion sizes, knowing how much your eating

okay that's what I came up with for now but I'll keep thinking.
How fun! Good luck!

Hope you guys are doing well and like your new place!

I thought of one more idea:

-Healthy sleep habits for each age group--what they are and how to achieve them

...I think this is inspired by my own lack of sleep and wishing that I got more!! haha
