Hello everyone! This is Devin, this is the first time I have ever written in this blog or any blog, so hopefully I get better at this as time goes on. I thought I would share my latest wonder shake idea with everyone and see what you think. At my job I work as a CNA with a lot of people who never really took care of themselves when they were in their younger years, and it has caught up to them now, and now they need constant care just to stay alive. These people never took diet and exercise seriously (their primary nutrient being nicotine), and I can see the toll it has taken on them. I don't have a nicotine addiction, but just to be sure I'm at my peak in my twilight years, I have started taking nutrition very seriously, (exercise soon to follow). For those who know me well, you know that nutrients and I haven't exactly been on a first name basis for a while. Forever actually. So I introduce to you my latest concoction. Included in it are two bananas, one cut up apple, tons of little carrots, and lots of spinach. I was afraid my body wouldn't know how to handle all this nutrients at once and reject it, but so far it has stayed down. I like the idea of drinking it as a shake because my body doesn't need to break anything down to make the nutrients available to me, once it hits my small intestine, it's just a fiesta of absorption. This isn't my first concoction, I've made a couple other ones recently, and so far I have been unsuccessful in getting Christine to join me in consuming them. Maybe she just needs a little more time...

ummmm. i believe you owe me a major apology. well, first a thank you, for introducing you to green smoothies, and secondly, an apology for saying how sick they were and how weird i was for drinking them. even when they weren't sick, because you drank it lovingly without knowing what was in it. and once i told you, i never heard the end of it. i can't BELIEVE you would do a post like this without mentioning your "thank you", but more importantly, your "apology." so, you are welcome, and i don't forgive you yet. :)
Who are you and what have you done with my brother?
haha! Dude, you and Bren must be on the same wavelength Dev, he makes a spinach/chocolate protein power/banana shake for breakfast every morning...it's delicious!
I can't believe you're actually drinking that and that you're willing to eat more than just applesauce for your "healthy" food now! Way to go!
WooHoo!!! Maybe next will be salmon! I can't believe you are the same Devin that married Christine a little over two months ago. Way to go bud...happy for you and for your health....
